I am thankful for the trust that has been placed in me by parents and students over the years. Their words of gratitude and excellent results remind me daily that my job is an important and meaningful one. I can indeed make a difference to the lives of those who come through my doors. Teaching to me is not just a job, it is a lifelong obsession. As Steve Jobs puts it, "You have to be burning with an idea, or a problem, or a wrong that you want to right."  My personal mission is to be a mentor to students who want to do well for their examinations but are unaware of how.

There are several education principles that I stand by. I believe that teachers should guide without dictating, and participate without dominating. This will direct students towards the right path, yet not deprive them of the independence they need to grow. As a Chinese saying goes, “Teachers open the door, but you must enter by yourself.” This is why I always remind my students that they are at the core of my methodology – they must themselves be willing and diligent learners. Most of them are, and they are the ones that benefit greatly.
